We're a gang!

We are officially a biker gang....well sort of. I guess two doesn't really constitute a gang, but we are on our way. One of Biker Bob's friends borrowed me (Jolly John) a bike for the fall. We have gone on a couple of rides around Buffalo and are gearing up to make a possible trek with the Fossil Apostles! Check them out, there is a link on the side bar. It looks like we are going to be a gang after all....I think?

Because of the generosity of Biker Bob's friend, it looks like we may make it into the real world of being a biker gang....that is if two constitutes a gang? We do have some potential new members, however, which would then make us a gang without question. Biker Bob's friend has decided to loan me (Jolly John) a Kawasaki EX500 that he has not ridden recently. This will be good since I am a beginner and because I don't have the funds to buy anything of my own. Beggers can't be choosers....right? I am super excited to have a bike to ride! On that note. We still would appreciate if anyone out there feels led to donate a bike to our cause. I have been given the opportunity to borrow this bike, but we could use a more permenant solution. Just throwing that out there, but for now.......the Young Blood Disciples Ride!!!!

The beginning of our dream

This all started with John Torkelson and myself, Bob Lezer, as we were on a whitewater rafting trip. We had spent most of our driving time looking at every motorcycle that had passed, as we are accustomed to doing. We very often talk about how anxious we are to get our own bikes and getting into doing some serious riding. A part of our anxiety has come from some peer pressure from our friends, the FOSSIL APOSTLES. On way home from this rafting trip we began brainstorming motorcycle gang names and have come to this one... The Young Blood Disciples Motorcycle Gang. We don't have bikes yet, but plan to be "rollin" by the summer of 2010. We will spend the next year preparing our "gang" for many trips, hopefully along side of the Fossil Apostles.
